Greek black/death metal band Exilium Noctis released their new album “Pactum Diaboli” in May 2025 through Black Lion Records. Formed in 2021 by Thyragon and Omega, the band have quickly built a reputation for their dark and atmospheric sound, where black and death metal meet with a strong cinematic edge.

“Pactum Diaboli” is the second full-length from Exilium Noctis, following their 2022 debut “Fragments of Apocalypse”. That record featured Jens Ryden (Naglfar) on the track “Wrath Eternal” and helped the band secure live shows alongside names like Mayhem, Akhlys, and Gaerea.
Across its nine tracks, the band explore themes of Faustian bargains, spiritual damnation and the eternal struggle between light and darkness. The title track features a guest appearance from Henri Sattler (God Dethroned), adding even more weight to the release.
With sharp riffs, haunting melodies and an atmosphere that shifts between the feral and the grandiose, “Pactum Diaboli” shows a band coming fully into their own. It is a work that will appeal to fans of Behemoth, Necrophobic and God Dethroned, while carving out a distinct space for Exilium Noctis in today’s black/death scene.
