JISEI released new single

Score A/V presents... : "2THEMOON", the brand new single + music video from JISEI's (electronica/noise/synthewave solo project from Bertrand Pot, known form being the guitarist of Herod) forthcoming 4-track instrumental EP, due out in September 2024 via Cold Smoke Records.

Embark on an sonic journey with JISEI's latest single, "2THEMOON".   As the second track from the upcoming EP, this dark synthwave instrumental captures the feeling of a relentless escape.   The accompanying music video offers a visual representation of this unfinished pursuit.

In Japan, a jisei is a farewell poem written before a ritual suicide or certain death.

Bertrand Pot's electronic/noise/synthwave project is a bit like that, what he would shout to the world if he had to leave with his head held high in a final burst of honor. A shrill cry, a dull anger and the promise of peace when the machines finally fall silent.

In its purest form, analog synthesizers come together to interpret the soundtrack of a post-apocalyptic film, supported by heady rhythms and layers of unhinged sound. EP to be released autumn 2024.

In his other incarnations, JISEI works with various other artists on different artistic collaborations ranging from rap to drone.
