Blackened death metal collective Visitant has dropped the official video for their album’s title track, “Rubidium”, a visceral visual companion to one of the most progressive and punishing songs on their debut record, unleashed on August 22nd via Exitus Stratagem Records. The release sets the stage for Visitant’s scorching “In the Wake of Flame Tour”, a five-state trek through Florida, Georgia, Tennessee, South Carolina, and North Carolina with genre-defying allies IATT, culminating in a climactic performance at the Tennessee Metal Devastation Fest. “Rubidium” is a sonic and lyrical descent into mythic horror. The track conjures a deity that feeds on human souls to nourish the forest floor, with trees bearing hauntingly human faces and worshippers willingly surrendering to the soil. Guitarist Taylor Tidwell, inspired by serpentine imagery, crafted riffs that slither and strike, while the band’s signature orchestral layering and thunderous rhythm section elevate the track into a cinematic nightmare. Visitant’s debut album "Rubidium" has already made waves for its genre-defying sound. Featuring seven tracks of ritualistic brutality, the record blends orchestral grandeur with guttural rage.
