Irish heavy metal band Celtic Legacy release today their new single “Golden Sun” through Eternal Legacy Records. It is the second of three standalone singles planned for this year, leading up to the closing track “Never Too Late” before the end of 2025.

Irish heavy metal band Celtic Legacy release today their new single “Golden Sun” through Eternal Legacy Records. The track is the second of three standalone singles the band plan to unveil this year, leading up to the final release “Never Too Late” before the end of 2025.
Written by vocalist John Bonham, “Golden Sun” reflects on themes of nostalgia and perseverance. “It’s partly about remembering when days seemed brighter and longer, but also about still feeling the fire inside after all these years and reaching for whatever keeps you moving forward,” Bonham explains.
Guitarist Dave Morrissey recalls first hearing the demo and adapting it to fit Celtic Legacy’s trademark sound: “The song started out very keyboard-oriented, but after reworking it, it fit perfectly with our style. We’ve always had a more commercial side, and while this leans that way, it still carries all the recognisable Celtic Legacy elements.”
The single was recorded at Bluebird Studios in Dublin and Dirty Dog Studios in Kildare, produced by Morrissey and engineered by Declan Lonergan, Dave Morrissey and John Bonham.
